I started out on 1/2 a grain of Armour. I'm now up to 2 grains and feel so much better. I've only ever taken it in the morning. I don't have any afternoon slumps so I think it's working well for me this way. I'd try taking it all in the am and if you feel slumpish then maybe split it. On the way up, I'd feel good for a few days or a week and then start feeling crappy again. My doctor had me increase by 1/4 - 1/2 grain at a time. Just be aware that you may have some ups and downs until you're at an optimized level.

Hi Guys,

I have been taking the Armour 3 days now and have also been low carbing. (Because I feel good I am able to spend more time focusing on foods etc)
I got weighed today and I have lost 5 lbs!
I can't believe it, do you think its real weight loss? The Armour can't make a difference immediately can it?

Any views?

BTW no bad side effects on the Armour so far!

Did you just start dieting? Low carb takes a lot of pounds off quickly in the first week or two.

I didn't have any weight loss I could attribute to the thyroid drugs, but people are different.

I just switched to a low carb diet.

I have tried low carb before, but not experienced weight loss that quick.
Last time I tried it I lost 7 lbs in one week, and I found it very tough and went it a period where I was totally exhausted.

It is proper weight loss or just fluid, what do you think?

Default Skin Breakout!

[B]Been on Armour a week now and have generally been feeling better. A little weight loss. Been feeling a little more tired last few days though.

Temperature has been steady.

Had a carbo binge too day before yesterday! Sob! I was doing so well too, but I think I need to do low carbing every other day as I react very quickly to low carbing. (I got really bad sugar cravings too a few days ago I was tempted to eat all the kids sweets)

I did 30 mins cardio yesterday to see if excercise would help energise me.

However, my worst side effect has to be my skin. Its not exactly peachy anyway, but I have been breaking out quite bad for about 4 days now. Do you think is related to the Armour???

Has anyone else had this experience? Is it temporary?

Edited to say: Just called Dr Peatfield to mention how I am doing and give him full update....forgot to mention the breakout, Doh!
But I did say I was feeling a little tired. He is more convinced now that I need adrenal support as I mentioned that I am a little light sensitive...so I will be taking a supplement he recommends called Nutri Adrenal. Should arrive tomorrow. I am to call him next week for an update if I have not improved.

I hate my hair, my skin and of course my fat bottom!

Finding it hard to be motivated and happy today - but hypoT is not going to beat me!

When I first started Armour, I also broke out. It was like a flash back to my teenage years. It went away after a week or two or three.

As far as sugar cravings, getting off the stuff and staying off is the best way to get rid of them! Think of it as heroine.
