I have been lurking around this forum for about a month now. Decided it was time that I post my introduction. I started the Atkins about 5 weeks ago. So far so good. You all provide great information and support. I don't think I would have made it this far without your help. Thanks for all the good advice and tips.

I'm completely new to all of this (the diet and chat rooms etc), I have been on this diet for only 3 days so I'm literally just starting out. It seems relatively straightforward and I do feel better already but I'm still nervouse about not appearing to have such a balanced diet as before?

Shiels: Glad you're feeling the benefits already. Getting your head around to a new notion of what a properly balanced diet is takes a while. I'm far from there yet. But even by the old standards I'm more balanced that I was!
