Losing weight slower is better, I know you don't want to hear it, but I'll tell you why:
For traditional low-fat/ low-cal diets to work there needs to be a calorie defecit, and the body uses it's stored energy (fat and muscle) to provide those needed calories.
On a low-carb diet, the body still needs some sort of calorie defecit, but a much, much, much greater proportion of fat:muscle gets used to provide those needed calories. (If you've read DANDR or some other low-carb books or literature, they explain why this is)
So it may take you a 2 weeks to lose 2 pounds, but chances are that it's nearly 2 pounds of FAT. On other diets, you may lose 4 pounds in 2 weeks, but it's probably not even 2 pounds of fat loss.
You are preserving your muscle while burning fat. The slower your weight comes off, the more likely it is for it to mostly fat.
Trus me, you'll notice the inches come off and the clothes fitting better much sooner than you'll be surprised by the scale reading.
