I don't know about you, Marvin, but it doesn't matter how much water I drink, when the humidity and the temps start to climb.

I WILL retain water. And, because I love leaving the windows open at night, if the humidity stays high overnight, and doesn't fall as dew on the grass, I WILL retain weight, as well.

I think I'm doing well, right now, hovering around 1 lb above the low. A year ago, I'd be thrilled to be bloated, and weigh this much!

Day 4: 8 minutes
Holy crap, my neighbors were loud last night. It sounded like they were building an ark in their apartment, and this went on until about 11:30pm. I was hoping to extend my meditation time beyond 15 minutes, but with all of the noise, I was pretty sure that wasn't going to happen. I think today I'll have to find the box that I packed my noise cancelling headphones in when I moved.

Today, day 7: be sure that mid afternoon hunger is hunger before grabbing a snack.

It's 5:37. The brats are simmering in 1/2 low carb hard cider and 1/2 water. I was HUNGRY.

So, instead of nuts or bacon, I had a Siggi's full fat yogurt with some cream. 9 grams, my first un-trace carbs of the day.

Thanks to all for keeping this thread going. Being part of it seems to help and makes me consider deeper what I actually NEED as opposed to WANT!

My 90 day "no snacking between meals" habit I'm developing.

Day 8: Complete
Restarts: 1

Comments:

That "no eating in the car" thing was a good idea for me. It's easy to let the feeling go after I recognize it and think to myself "I'm in the car." It vanishes almost immediately.

ESW: Needs vs Wants - I think that's where some real growth can happen. Not a bad place for your mind to live in considering those thoughts. Thank you!
