I have never used it but wondered about it also.
How do you like it so far?
Is it as easy as it looks?
I thought just by watching that I would maybe fall on my face! LOL!

Lightbulb AB Slide

I have been using it everyday since I got it on Friday.I felt it doing some good the first time. You wont fall on your face and it isnt too difficult.
My ab muscles did feel a bit sore for the two days as did my underarm muscles but apart from that it seems good. I dont feel any soreness now.It was probably just the initial starting of a new exercise. Ill keep you all posted.

Any further opinions regarding this device would be appreciated.

Dazza,
I have to say that I love my ab-slide. It is the best thing I think that I have bought in a long time. I use it twice a day and also do sit-ups to help with the side muscles in my abdomin but my husband say's that he can tell that my tummy is starting to get flatter. I have had a problem the last 2 years with getting my tummy back in shape since I was pregnant and then had to have a c-section with my daughter. But I can definetly tell after I use it that I am feeling something in my stomach and I think that this ab-slide is doing it's job.
Hope you like your's.

I love my Ab Slide...Doing sit ups with extra weight on your belly is not an easy chore...The Ab slide takes the pressure off of your back. I have a T.V. and VCR next to mine and I watch my soap and do my AB slide. It really works out your legs and the rest of your body!

Have Fun!!

Iluvtexas,
I know what you mean. I love mine and I always watch my soaps in the evening while doing my ab-slide it is a great way to get away from feeling like I am actually working out. But I use mine also in the morning for about 10 minutes so that I can have a little bit of muscle warm up for the whole day.

Smile AB Slide

I have been using the AB slide for about a month now.

I have been doing about 5 minutes per day as per instructions.

It said that you should be able to reduce 2 dress sizes.

It looks like I have reduced about 1 dress size.

I guess it is doing something.Maybe I should it for a longer period but my wrists get too sore.

I think it has helped to reduce my flabby tummy a bit.

I too had a C-section with my daughter. That was 15 years ago.

I have never been able to really get rid of the excess weight afdter pregnancy.

I think I will perservere with the device and try to do it for a longer time. I think it has helped somewhat with the underarm flab. That is also a problem for me. It looks SO unsightly.

Thanks for your opinions. I will continue with it.

If it bother's you to go more then 5 minutes at a time why don't you try doing 5 minutes in the morning and 5 minutes in the evening. That way you get 10 minutes a day but you are spreading it out where your body can take it. I normally do about 10 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes in the evening. I also do 200 sit-ups a day so that I can work the side muscles that aren't getting worked with the ab-slide. I go to Jazz dance class twice a week and get a great ab work out there. We work a whole lot on posture and our ab's but have a great time with it dancing. My whole class isn't in the best of shape but we are having a great time any how.

MY old roommate left us his abslide and my wrists hurt sooooo bad after using it...after reading your thread I thought of a possible solution...

I know it sounds a little corny, but we should tape our wrists. I used to have to do it before I played lax and field hockey in highschool because I'm prone to wrist problems (I get these fluid filled sacs, cysts, whatever).

Its the white taped that you'd find in a medicine box but with a thickness of about 1.5 to 2 inches...
You can also buy these surgical scissors to cut the bandage off - although they might be expensive. The tape doesn't leave any residue, and after some practice only takes about a minute of to to put on and off.

Good Luck...
