Talking My tail is between my legs.....

ha ha ! If I had a tail anyway! Muwhaahaahaa

Anyway, several times in the last few months I have come and said I was coming back, and I changed my mind ~ chickend out at the last minute. I am going to process this right here in front of you so that maybe you can understand. I don't want anyone to think I doubt this way of life ~ eating Atkins way is very healthy and I know that. Hey, I am carb addict and I can switch to say "it can't be healthy if I am not allowed to eat bananas!" LOL. ~bare with me... I am getting to my point.

I was following Gwen Shamblin's Weigh Down Diet ~ and I can honestly maintain my weight by eating smaller portions and ONLY when hungry and stopping when I am full. I guess, my body is lucky that way. BUT... I can tell you this. I require more sleep eating that way. I reguire much more control eating that way. My brain isn't as clear eating that way. I am having lots of bilogical feedback lately saying STOP THE INSANITY!

So I am returning to Atkins induction tomorrow. Yes tomorrow. I am ready. Then.. I will climb up the ladder at Dr. Atkins recommends ~ maybe. Some things I still had trouble eating and enjoying. I don't enjoy pasta like I used to . I don't really like mashed potatoes anymore ~ so that is not a big deal.

BUT the less carby foods, just put me in a level of energy, clarity, and health that I WANT to be at. I weighed in this morning at 156.2. Being OFF plan for six months ~ I am only up 6.2 pounds from my last Atkins weigh in. And I can tell you that 6.2 pounds has been in the last few weeks.

I said I am back, and I mean it!

....and what exactly does that mean?

I'm not going to say welcome back, because everybody is ALWAYS welcomed back.

Progress not perfection.
