Default so, my tsh was slightly elevated

5.4... (I've had it as high as 87 in the past)

I had been feeling kinda funky; some escalated hair loss, headache, etc. Put it off to other things, but I'm not surprised to know that there is indeed a slight issue there.

Here's the thing that irked me... doctor says, oh let's wait 3 months and test again...

I'm not feeling so great and she wants me to wait? I've had hashimotos for almost 20 years, with some infrequent bouts of instability... I think I would rather bump the meds a slight amount than feel like dookey and possibly let it get worse.

Does anyone else's doctor not medicate even if tsh is greater than 3?

Tell your doctor that you don't want to wait, you feel miserable and want to treat it now. Mine said exactly the same thing I basically said, "No, I'd rather treat it right away because I feel like crap". He said ok.

try LDN for hashimotos, but try diet first if antibodies are still high then try LDN.

according to loren cordain grains, dairy, legumes, tomatoes, egg whites can cause antibodies to remain high.
