Default Hi Shirley,

Welcome to CAD.. it is always great to see a new face.
Congratulations on having already lost some weight.. you are starting CAD with a head start!

I'm ready for a good week hopefully. I am feeling fairly motivated to try and balance my reward meal a bit better. I am planning to have oatmeal for my carb portion tonight and perhaps just a little bit of ice cream but if I feel up to it, I will forgo that.

We shall see
Tracy

Have a great day everyone!

Default Great idea!

Hi there!

Mind if I join in? My ambition this week is to cut out (or at least greatly reduce LOL) the sweet stuff. So far so good!

Happy eating everyone!

Hi Sue, Tracy and Lisa,
Well, so far, so good today. I had my rm meal early at 10:00 am. We went to take our little Bichon to the groomer's and had to stop for Breaskfast. Went to Mc Donnalds. I had a sausage Biscuit. Hashbrowns and Cherry pie.
I am having a big salad, and polish sausage for dinner. I know I need to eat healthier, but that will come.
Hope you all are doing okay today,
Talk to you later, Shirley

Shirl, Welcome to CAD.

You are off to a head start if you have already lost some weight. Good for you.

I did pretty good last week considering I had company all week, and he is a total CARB ADDICT. I think he is probably the worst I have ever seen, but that is another story. I did very well for my CM's, but my RM were a little heavy on the carbs, but all in all, I did fine.

Looking forward to having a good week on plan, plus getting back to walking again on the treadmill. I have only had it a short time, but with company, I had to put it away. Now I can get back on it again.

Have a great week...

May I join too?
This is the week for me to get back on track. I'm having a terrible time at work, which tempts me to go further off track, but I really want to grab hold of the reins and do what I can to live a healthy life. CADing is great. I want to get back there. I know I can and I will begin tomorrow.
Have a great week everyone!

Sybs,

CAD stands for Carbohydrate Adicts Diet. It was written by the Heller's. There are a few stickys at the begining of the forum that explains it. If you have any other questions, just ask. We will try to help.

Welcome Nadz,

Glad you are coming back to CAD. I notice you have modified CAD listed. What are you doing that is different, if you don't mind me asking?

Good Luck tomorrow. You will do just fine.

Hi...
I've been carbing out recently and have been very out of control. Major carb addiction reaction! I was trying the Insulin Resistance Plan, which is moderate carb consumption. Wow! Too many for me! Got me rolling on a huge binge. Got back to CAD and started feeling relief the first day. I've had trouble in the past with CAD because of going overboard with reward meals. I'm planning on smaller carb portions and just smaller portions of everything in general for the reward meal in the hopes of better weight loss.
This is my second day and I'm feeling soooo much better!
Wish me luck!
Signey

Welcome to everyone new,
I am going to write eveyones name down in a minute, so I can get everyone straight. So tomorrow I will know everyone's names, but I am so glad this thread is taking off.

I really did well yesterday. I was straving before I went to bed but didn't give in. I am not very hungry this morning, so I guess it was Just being used to eating at night, head hunger. I need to drink more water.

Well, I am going to get me a big cup of coffee with cream.
Have a great cad day,
Shirley

I didn't see my post, so I am posting again.
Hope everyone is up and at em this morning.
I went and got my big cup of morning coffee with cream so I am set. Lol. It is only 5:00 am here.
I did very well yesterday, except for evening, but I didn't give in and eat after the rm meal. I had sliced beef instead of the polish sausage and it was good and a big salad.
This morning I will have eggs and bacon
I don't know for sure about lunch
But want spagetti and meatballs for dinner(yum!!!) and a salad, maybe an apple fritter.
Off to get ready for my walk.
Have a great Tuesday everyone,
Shirley
