Default New to Schwarzbein thread

I googled Schwarzbein Principle and found this thread. It's exactly what I was looking for! I've been looking at the rest of the website and wondered if you all use any of it or mainly post on this thread. I've been trying to do the SP for 2 weeks now. I did Weight Watchers successfully for 4 years but my hormone imbalance is becoming more of a problem. The Women to Women website recommends SP so I want to do this. I actually bought the 1st book when it was released and tried it but didn't stick with it. About 10 to 12 years ago I did the G-Index Diet and felt wonderful. No headaches, lost weight without trying. I just bought the SP2 book and Cookbook. Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks!

It might take awhile to balance your hormones and lose weight. One person on here said it took them 3 years to lose weight, and I've been on TSP for one year and have gained 10 pounds, but feel much better.

[I]Hi I started the SP about 2 wk. ago i feel much better it seems it takes a while to loose weight but you start feeling better almost inmediatly Im doing pilates 3 times a week for 40 min and i can see already big difference in my stomach mainly I'm going to stick with it because I know its the right way to go as far as health.I like you have hormonal imbalance I'm taking supplements mentioned in the book along with some progesterone cream for my 3 week long pms.I'll tell you something PMS was not in my way this past weeks (i just started my p. yesterday) so I'm a believer that good food(proteind ,fats carbs) some exercise, and commitment can make the difference.Good Luck

Default Thanks for the feedback

I'm starting to get over my carb cravings. The first week was tough. I'm also using the progesterone cream. I think it's giving me a headache. I didn't use it today and I haven't had a headache. I've used progesterone before though and I think I have to use it a month or so and the headaches will quit. I need to finish reading her second book so I can feel more comfortable about the eating plan.
