Default New book, The Program?

Yesterday I bought SPII and the cookbook. Saw The Program and thought it looked very easy to follow. Didn't buy it yet because I thought I should read the others first. Anyone have The Program?

Default The Books

Welcome, Rosie!

I have all 3 books, plus the cookbook. Dr. S started out more technical in the first book, and has gotten less technical and more procedural as she's gone along. If you're just looking for a plan to follow, without a lot of analysis of all of your hormonal systems and how they work, The Program is good. It's easy to follow.

Hope this helps.

Blessings,

-Don

Default Thanks for your input

I went ahead and bought The Program and asked my husband to read it. He's a fast reader and I figure it will be less technical for him. I just want him to understand why I'm eating the way I am and maybe he'll join me. So far, though, it seems a little more oriented to females than the 1st book. I'll probably point out some of the case studies on men from the 1st book.

Wo! We guys need proof (and all the help we can get). Being a woman, Dr. S. seems to attract more women than men (also likely because women are more interested in their health). I found it very reinforcing that she put the case studies with men in the books. I think your hub will, too.

Blessings,

-Don
