Do anyone know if you have to exercise in order to get a dark reading on the ketone sticks. Also do you need to drink a lot of water.

Ketones result from dietary fat as well as body fat. A dark reading may just mean that a lot of dietary fat was ingested. It is not necessarily a result of exercise. Exercise, however, will impact it.

Water is very important. It helps flush the ketones out of our body. If too many ketones accumulate the body can slow down or shut down production until they have been flushed out of our system.
