MOMD #48 for today. I’m glad I worked from home today because I was craving candy and know just where it’s at in the office.

Kristine - what was the treat your coworker brought ?

WTG!

Coworker didn't bring a treat after all. She's the one who went home sick (with a bad migraine) earlier in the week, and she was probably still feeling unwell. That's just as well, I don't need it... but I still want to do some homemade yogurt. We have berries at work for our yogurt parfaits, but the yogurt is runny, sugary crap. I think the HWC yogurt I make would blow their socks off. At least I hope it would.

...soooooo, I'm MOMD for 7 days.

MOMD (Friday the) 13th.

...so today is the day coworker is bringing in treats. The reason she didn't last week was because we had a big health and safety audit by the higher-ups, and we didn't want to get in any trouble for anything.

I might not need to use my cheat declaration, because she told me what it is: bruscetta. I made some flax/coconut flour crackers. The taste test was awesome; too bad I just threw everything together and didn't measure. Next time.

Our boss is eating gluten free now, so coworker said, "make enough for Shelley." Can't hurt to suck up to the boss.

Absolutely right Kristine about sucking up to the boss! Makes sense also to play it safe during an inspection audit. I hope the bruschetta is good with your crackers.

55 days, sweet! I'm at 14 now.

The bruscetta treat was really good! For the carb eaters, she put them on little melba toast rounds, and it was bruscetta + spinach dip + a balsamic glaze. I went easy on it because I didn't want to end up with sore joints from the seed oils, and I'm not a big fan of balsamic vinegar, anyway. But it was a nice flavour combination. I had the rest of my crackers with deli turkey on them.
