Talking BFL newie - just saying "Hi"

Hi!

My partner and I started BFL this Monday and so far so good!

I have really sore quads today from yesterdays LB (to be expected). I love the 20 min aerobic solution, it's harder than I thought it would be. I am used to hour-long aerobics classes. I think this makes you push yourself harder knowing you have a window of 20 minutes.

Having problems coming to terms with more carbs. The info on this site is proving invaluble - thanks to everyone!

Cheers
- Dani

Welcome to the forum, Dani

I know what you mean about adding in the carbs - at first it just feels 'wrong' (kinda like only doing 20 minutes of cardio felt wrong) But you can pick and choose the carbs you add in. I have just started by second challenge and I've added in even more carbs - and I'm really enjoying the results so far. I've used lower glycemic fruits this time around - you do not have to go the route of rice / oatmeal / whole wheat / potatos as suggested in the book.

I'm looking forward to following your progress! Why not start up a gym log to keep track of your workouts?

Nat
