Krystair,

I started six weeks ago and I am 62 with COPD,I have lost lbs and I know I can do this until all my weight is gone and do it for the rest of my life. I did Atkins and have lost up to 50 lbs years back,Now my weight is worse than ever but,I love the fact that we can now eat Veggies. When I did it in the 80's it was not this easy, all I ever ate were the meats and cheese, eggs. I have seen how LC works just as well as Atkins for me.
Your post is very inspirational . Thanks for it.

I've got a lot of this in my blog. I did a write up not too long ago on it for someone (my blog is only a few pages long, just look for the REALLY long post).

If you still have questions, come back and ask I honestly just did with the plan said.

mememe - I have some of that info in my journal as far as sample menus. Feel free to check that out there. I ate under 20 carbs per day, and did not count calories (BUT my calories were always low because of my food choices)

nana - Keep up the great work!

tova - I've never been a drinker - not even socially...so for me, no alcohol. It slows progress because your body will burn the alcohol before it burns fat.
