Talking *Wave*

Hiya! I'm new to the whole low carb thing (about 4 days new, in fact) and am pretty excited about it. My parents were on it for around 3 months, my mother lost around 35lbs in the process. I figured it's time for me to try it, too. I've been overweight all my life (and I do mean ALL my life) but I've just gotten to the point where I'm considered "morbidly obese". My choices are only to exercise and get on a good diet or get surgery (which I really would like to avoid). I'm really good at backsliding but I'm trying to keep my arse in gear.

Phew...ok all that just to say

[IMG] Help me get started! HELP This is very new to me. I see that you have made so much progress. I have to get serious with the program starting today. Last night I ate a half of an 8 inch apple pie. It was so good, but today I feel so, so horrible. I'm so afraid to even get on the scale this morning.

Where do I start. Need much support and help. Perhaps some day I can post positives like the ones I read above.

Come visit me in my Journal and I will be there for you! Getting started can be frustrating but you have to remember that eating as you did last night is a habit and habits can be changed given time and knowledge of what you are getting yourself into! So, please come visit me!!!!!!!
