I liked the oven rack. I was surprised at the drainer as most British sinks come with a draining surface, is this not the same in the U.S.

Oooh, the herb mill looks great. Could use that one.

The food huggers are cute!

ONION Glasses yes! I've had some swim goggles in my kitchen for quite some time, but they're a pain to use. The sink rack is neat, but too small!

i have something similar to the fancy avocado pitter/slicer......it was a gift after i stuck a knife in my hand while trying to pit an avo.....
apparently it is a very common reason to need stitches according to E.R. Dr!

for the onion glasses- just refrigerate your onions before use, and voila! no tears when you cut them.

thanks for the link- there are some cool gadgets in there!

Me neither - I'll be trying it tomorrow when I chop onions for husband's hot dogs.

I'll have to try that onion tip, but my eyes are so sensitive to onion I wonder if it will work.

I loved the idea of the avocado tool (having just made some quacamole last night). I was sad that was the one item they didn't have a photo of.

And yes, kitchens can be dangerous places! I've cut myself with knives lots of times, and nearly took off the top of my thumb with a mandoline.

But years ago I was in the hospital after knee surgery and a young (30-something) woman came in with a broken hip. She had just slipped on a wet patch on the kitchen floor while doing dishes. Ouch.

I don't think I've ever lived in a house with one of these. Another thing to add to the dream house plans.

I have the pineapple thing. No idea if it works because I don't eat pineapple lol but couldn't pass up the deal. Regular $30 on Amazon. Paid $5 with free shipping.
