Leek in creamy sauce
1 leek, cleaned and sliced
1 heaped teaspoonsful of cream cheese
1 tblsp of heavy (double) cream
Salt to season
Put leek in a saucepan with a little water, cover and steam until cooked (5-10 mins). Drain off excess water, then stir the cream, cream cheese and salt through the leeks until the cheese has melted. Serve as a side vegetable or on it's own.
