I was doing that; the trainer said I was overtraining and to cut back the cardio and just do a 1/2 hour of each.

All I do is a good one a day for the over 50 crowd, but I'm not on Atkins either. I do SBD. Just hoping you find lots of good support here. best wishes.

South Beach Diet is a newer version of Atkins to me. It has more healthy choices leaner meats. And it also caters to vegetarians as well for low carb vegetarians. thhis is the program I am on. This low carb diet was designed by Arthur Agatston, M.D.

Hope this has helped you a little.

South Beach is higher carb and lower fat than Atkins. South Beach says saturated fat is bad.

Thanks for the info about SBD...........OK makes sense now South Beach Diet.......

So here I am after one week back on Atkins, only 1lb lighter cos I thought I would do it the WOL thing before doing the Induction. A big mistake it would seem.

So tonight I made this soup for dinner, Leek, Broccoli and Cheese and I had this packet of bread rolls (white) I had taken out of the freezer to make room for more appropriate things and I am so proud of myself, 'cos much as I wanted to butter up a roll and dunk it in the soup...........I chucked all 4 of them in the garbage bin..........but man it was hard
