Default FionaM's new gym log

Gday, well today I finally started back at the gym.
I joined last Feb and havent been since the first week in april.
So today 19/7 I made it back
I had a slow start, only 15 min on the treadmill.
15min on the trainer thingy
and 15 weights, and then cool down and streaches, and crunches

So I feel ok, thought I was going to die on the trainer.

Anyone know what my heartrate should be up to, to loose wieght and get fitter?
Im 102 kg's and 35 yrs old. My rest rate is about 88.
I was getting it to sit at about 160-170 is that ok?

Thanks will post again tomorrow, when I go to the gym again

Today was only a very quick day at the gym, I didnt have time litrally.
So I just did 15 min on the cross trainer and 10 min on the treadmill, a little faster than yesterday.
Again I kept my heart above 160 mostly sitting at 170-173
Still dont know if thats enough....but I think I would die if I went faster
You know what was amazing, there was a lady on the xtrainer next to me today, who was thin, and no doubt fit, Ive seen her there heaps.
I glanced accross at her stats and she was going heaps faster than me, had been on about 1/2 before me, and her heart was only 98!!!!
I couldnt believe it. 98!!!?? Unreal. Boy, I hope one day Im that fit

Well, finally got back to the gym, i felt good today, I felt as if I pushed myself a bit.
I did 20 min on the trainer thingy, and 20 min/2km on the treadmill.
And 15-20 min of weights, and some ab crunches.
I also did 2 houseworks, that got my hear rate up etc.
So planning on going again tomorrow for an hour.

Had a good day at the gym, i worked hard, doing
30 min on the "beast" stepper walker thingy. Heart about 165-174 most of the time.
30 min on the treadmill...heartrate above 160 all the time
5 min on the rower
15 min doing weights.

Feeling happy with myself today, wondering if I have burned myself out though today.....bad headache now, and cramps in my calves.

Well, tomorrow will have to be a small program as I only have 45min all up.

same as yesterday, without the treadmill, my legs started cramping again.
