gender -- female
age -- 51
height -- 5'4" when I stand tall
weight -- 131.5
and clothing size (or sizes) -- size 8 pants, size 12 blouse (woven non-stretch oxford-type fabric), size small shirts (stretch knit-type fabric) [34B]

Are you going to put this data into a database? It would be interesting to see.

clothing size (or sizes) TOTALLY depends on manufacturer!

My last jeans and dress pants were a 6, but in some brands I have 7s and 8s (28 waist but 34 long)
Medium tops, last blazer I bought (with my size 6s) was a 10 (boobs get in the way....lol)

Funny how a 6 is not a 6 is not a 6.....

Have a good day all.

Julie

I agree with whoever said that sizes are crazy, lol.

I'm 5"1' and about 111 pounds. I wear a size 6, 8, or 2--yes, that's a 2--jeans, depending on who the maker is. However, I have old size 10 skirts that I still can't button. And size 8 slacks that fit me perfectly. My actual waistline is about 26 inches. But my waistline isn't where my waistline should be, so very little fits correctly. At my advanced age (53) I've become very fond of hip-huggers, lol.

On top, I'm a small or extra-small because I have very narrow shoulders.

Why is it that men don't seem to have the same problem with finding consistent sizes and clothes that fit????

Wow, everyone on this thread lately wears small sizes! I'm still cutting out the size tags if I think anyone will see them.

Female (44 in January)

5'7"

283 pounds

42DD Bra

Pants/Jeans: 42/44 (Depends on maker for what method of sizing to quote. For example, in some plus sizes- like Pennington's- I was in a TIGHT 28 for pants at 318, now down to a very loose sz 24)

top: 3x or 4X - I don't like anything tight.

Wow, can't believe I'm actually posting this! I guess I just KNOW I won't be in these sizes for LONG. Woo-woo!!!
