Default EASY maple syrup

I have seen this idea a couple of different times, but never exact recipes, so I played around with it today and came up with one. This was delicious, and tasted exactly like buttery maple syrup, with practically zero carbs!

2 T butter, melted
1/4 tsp maple extract (I used imitation)
4 tsp splenda (I used the liquid equivalent)
1/8 tsp xanthan gum (you could probably use a bit more if you wanted-it wasn't terribly thick)

This was SO yummy and absolutely hit the spot for a craving for maple syrup
