today I walked 80 min of brisk walking outside...why is it that my heart rate is at aerobic levels without much effort...whn the treadmill with speed and elevation doesn't do the same?
Today we are supposed to get my bowflex! My husband got a small TV to go in the "workout room" I need to walk today..Ive been soooo not motivated....my sweet DIL got me a great work out outfit for my birthday!! soooooooooo I need to wear it today.. I have 78 min left this week to make goal..Once I get the Bowflex I will modify my exercise goals....
My dh and I walked briskly 95 min yesterday!! it felt great!!
WE found a new route to walk...almost 5 miles! Low traffic great sidewalks!! nice scenery!
My ds and dh are picking up the Bowflex today! DH bought me a small TV for the room Ill be using!!! I hope to be able to figure it out enough to get a 20min workout in....
My goals for next week are: 60 min bowflex....360 min walk/bike..
125 min at the Y on WED. cold snap here....didn't walk outside.. Th was a rest day...today Im going to finish up the 35 min at the Y . It's cold and windy outside...brrrr...
Well.....still no bowflex...rescheduled for Sat. am...to pick up.. we will see..
I rode the recumbent bike level 10 for 60 min....so I exceeded my goal... I was really hungry after I finished which is unusual for me...so I ate 1.75 pcs of pizza quiche..
So today I explored the Bowflex....Ok I have it mostly figured out... Boy oh boy....Ive let the upper body strength thing go for too long..I succesfully did the beginning routine at the low weights( 20 min)....but already can tell Im gonna be soooooo sore ,later...Im going to the Y for a 90 min aerobic workout in order get a good start at meeting my weekly goal..Fortunately, Im supposed to do the Bowflex workout every other day for no more than 30 min....Im doing this for health and for physical fitness....soooo I gotta give up caring about the scale...
Hi!! and FYI... no one EVER comments on my gym log. I've come to terms that it is either extremely too boring or extremely too intimidating to people!! Either way, at least we aren't on the couch!

I was sick yesterday ( Sat).....Im going to try to finish up my exercise today....Im still not completely better....but I think I can eat again..Ill at least get the bowflex done...so 20 min out of the 62 left for the week....Im hoping for a walk..Ill see if I hold down brunch..
