Just found a new product at my favourite Italian grocer (The Re Store in Leederville). It’s a low-carb foccacia and is made by Orchestra Foods in WA. The carb count is 21.5g per 100g and they claim it has 40% less carbohydrates than their standard foccacia.

Ingredients are: bakers flour, water, wheat protein, wheat starch, wheat gluten, rye flour, canola oil, extra virgin olive oil, salt, yeast, bread improver, sugar, herbs and calcium propionate.

The loaf is 24cm long by 18cm wide by 4½cm thick, weights 370g and costs $4.15. Looks like the real thing but I won't be taste testing it for a few days.
