Fun article!
(I posted about baggy undies in the milestones section but I’m happy to continue this thread)

I went thrift shopping yesterday at Value Village (department store style thrift store; not sure what that would be in the US) and bought a vintage leather jacket with a tight belted waist and a pea coat in excellent condition and a heavy, hand knit, 100% wool cardigan. The NSV part was that I could shop in the large section, where there is way more to choose from! I found 7 coats — 7! — that were in styles I liked and fit and were in good shape! That has NEVER happened before.

I think I did very well to only buy 3

It was so much fun, I’m almost looking forward to the eventual winter.

Who else? What’s a NSV for you?

Fantastic, Blue! You will be warm and toasty this winter - and stylish too.

My NSVs seem tame compared to Bailey's. Can you imagine diving in that exotic location? And she actually enjoys hiking. (Lots of people do: just not my thing - but I admire their athleticism.)

But I guess the latest was when I was at a grocery, and having explained to someone I was doing a low carb diet, she expressed astonishment that I was dieting at all. She said I looked great!

That is a great NSV!!

About 15 pounds ago / a year ago, my ex repeatedly said how great my new haircut made me look...(it's the same haircut I've had for 4 years, I think it was the weightless in my face)

We all know there are bigger health benefits to this woe but sometimes it is fun to the more superficial joys!

It's definitely fitting into Large instead of 2X. More selection, slightly lower prices, more options. A close second is leaning over to pull weeds without losing my breath.
