Default Exercise Question..overtraining??

Ok stats- me.. 6ft 0 229.8 lbs.

Ok..so i swim 1.2 miles each swim session OR 80 lengths/40 laps in 54 minutes.

I intake between 1200-1500 calories and I take in 20Net Carbs.

I noticed on days i swim and day after my scale goes up. Ok normal right ?

I am wanting to add weight training sessions 3x week. The sessions improve my swimming time in the pool. But a few quetions?

I swim every day except Sundays.Would that mean i have to cut out swim sessions in order to not overtrain my body while doing weight sessions?

Do i nee to eat more? even though im in a ketosis state?

I dont want to over stress my body cause people tell me it increases cortisol. So how can i add in weights but keep my swim sessions and eat right for this? I have been experimenting and notice that my weight goes down better when i bump up my net carbs to 30 on training days. Non activity days i keep it at 20.

I think you need to experiment. I swim and lift weights and also run on the same day sometimes, although I don't work out seven days a week. And I am sensitive to overtraining/the cortisol problem.
