Looking to gain tone and fix my posture
I've been lowcarbing for not very long, and have reached a weight I'm perfectly happy with, around 157 whereas I started at 170. However, I look pretty skinny fat. The extent of my exercise is sets of chins ups and pull ups with different grips, along with push ups and weighted squats all done at home. I have access to a free gym so I hope to do some weight training there, however do not have a trainer. I really have no idea what I'm doing, so would you suggest machines vs free weights? To be honest I'm very intimidated by the free weights and would feel more comfortable on machines.
Also my posture has major issues. As you can see here, around my lumbar vertebrae there is an unnaturally huge curve giving me a bigger than normal butt and jutted out stomach. Any thoughts on how to fix this, either through exercises or stretches?
