I read an article about a study that claims the most successful quitters did so spontaneously. Meaning they didn't plan it out much at all. Thats exactly what we did. We picked a day, didn't really talk about it and when that day came we slapped the patches on and did it. Cravings came...then they went. The trick is to keep the mind occupied, at least for us it was.

Less than a week later we were patch-free as well.
