Question Am I Just Being Paranoid???

Ok, so heres the question, ive started hitting the gym and running on a treadmill for 30 minutes a day and some mild weight lifting. Im not sure if im just seeing things but first of all ym brother (a past bodybuilder) told me that as soon as i got into this diet i would feel worse into the first 2 weeks because supposingly my skin should start getting kind of loose i weight 139 and would like to get down to a 118 and when i look into thw mirror i feel as though my skin is sagging especially on ym arms!! does this really happen or am i just letting it go to my head and if this is real how could i reduce this effect or even get rid of it!!

Thanx!!
Micha

Hey Micha,

Welcome in. And yea - I think yer worrying a bit too much..

The first two weeks of a low carb program (induction) can be a little tough. Our bodies have to adjust. But adjusting in terms of our 'skin getting looser' is not one of the drawbacks.

You said you were working out. If you are concerned about your arms then just do some bicep and tricep exercises. You might also want to consider starting a daily Journal here plus a gym log.

Hope that helps, and again - welcome in!
