Question Is cream soups OK?

I am going to be starting the program and we use a lot of cream soups as sauces. Are cream soups - mushroom and tomato - all right to use on the program?

It all depends on what is in the cream soups. Alot of times there are sugars and flour/starch int he cream soups to thicken them up. If it is just cream/fat with no sugar or flour then I would think it is ok.

Thanks for the information!! I will look at the labels and see what is in the soup. When we look at the nutrition information, do we look at the carb amount - some of the soups have 10-15 grams of Carbs. Is this good or bad or so-so?
Thank again.
Christine

According to SS way of eating...you don't count carbs. You just don't eat anything with sugar (corn syrup, corn starch etc) or flour..and any type of flour.
You don't want to eat anything with those nasty additives. Stick with whole foods, with little added to it.

Have you read her books? She has tons of recipes in there and I am almost sure she has a few cream soup recipes.
