Default *sigh* hi ya'll I'm back for another go!

Well, here I am again! heh

I wandered away in Oct or Nov of 2011 and managed to regain most of the weight I had lost, so clocked in at about 320 at my doc's office on July 4 this year.

That was a good smack up the side of the head, which I obviously needed!
As of yesterday am 305.8 so managed about 14 pounds down for July; a decent restart.
I do a modified Atkins mostly and am particularly vigilant to keep carbs quite low overall as I have the hyperinsulinism thingy going here. Am back on on all my Chromium, Vit D drops, Magnesium and so on hehe along with metformin which I've been taking for a few years steadily.

My A1c came back at 6.5 from late June, not as bad as I had thought it would be considering that I'd regained about 70 lbs!
Have been doing my glucose sticks pretty frequently (testing certain foods impacts too) and mostly this past couple weeks am down in the 5.something range with even a few into the 4's, so next A1C should be better when I go get it pulled in late September I'm hoping!

I was losing quite well for most of 2011, bout 8lbs per month, until I hit a bit of a resistant wall in the autumn and was stuck around 250-255. Am reviewing my own journal to just remind myself of all the good stuff I was doing that helped me with that loss rate and reinstating some habits from then

I have set my next mini-goal for 290 and I'll get myself back onto the Weekly Weigh-In thread again.
