You are doing something right. You've made great progress for being LC barely 3 months. Keep it up, dude -- and you will be at 50 and half way to your goal in short order. When you hit 50 - post your own new thread. That is an event worth celebrating.

I've been stuck at the same weight for about 3 weeks now - so a drop is due. The next "whoosh" should get me to 90 pounds lost. That will put me into new territory. I've never lost more than 90 pounds on any of my previous weight loss attempts. I'm finally doing this right, 'cause this has been the easiest "diet" I've ever done. I'm looking forward to reaching the 100 pound mark by the end of the summer.

I look forward to posting in your 50 lb celebration thread soon.

This is great!! I know I felt so much pride at the 50lb loss milestone!

I can't wait to get to 65 then 70, then 75, etc! The weight came off fast at first, now a lot slower, so every 5lb loss feels like a victory to me now.

Now it is 50 pounds times two! A 101 pound loss in 6 months, three weeks. Now I just have to do it again. I'm sure it will be a little harder and will take a little longer -- but thankfully it will be a different 100 pounds (not the same ones I have previously lost and regained over and over again).

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. You all have been a great inspiration to me and have certainly helped be get where I am today. My next goal is to break into the 200's by December and get back into my 1990's clothes.

Whoo Hooo!!1 I am butt dancing with you

I am so so happy for you! When you are heavier you loose weight more rapidly. I found that for me. And as you get closer to your goal the weight comes off at a slower rate. I was loosing average 2-3 pounds a week for a good chunk of my weight loss. Now it is slower maybe 3-4 pounds a month if no set backs.

But that is utterly fanastic news and I am so so Happy for you

Keep it up and you will definitely hit your mark ;D
