Hey y'all!

I've really been trying to find a place to talk, and relate with other people my own age. I haven't seen any sites that might be for this age group, if anyone wants to join this, or point me in the right direction, id really appreciate it! I saw one site for girls 20 - 30 who needed to loose 100 or more pounds, I don't need to loose that much, and I'm sure there are other girls my age that are just looking for accountabilty partners and someone to talk to while trying to loose our weight and get healthy! So if anyone wants to join come on in!

Hey ODS2005,
I am 26 and need to lose like 35 pounds. I REALLY need an accountability partner and someone to help me get past the cravings and someone to talk to. I would love to partner up with yo if you're interested.

Hi dustpuppy,

Our starting weights and current weights are the same! We should definitely keep each other motivated.

I am Kerry and I am 25. I'm not getting crazy about the weight, but I want to be a size 6. Right now, I am fitting into most size 12s. So I guess I'd like to lose another 30-40 lbs.

Hi, I'm Molly. I am 28, but still feel like I am on the younger side of my twenties I started following Atkins the begining of October. I'm with you Ker, I dont care what I weigh, I just want to wear size 8 jeans Size 12 is the smallest I can ever remember being. I've been making good progress and I think alot of it has to do with my exercise routine. I'm following the Body for Life exercise plan but eating strict Atkins style.

Welcome Molly, Sarah, and Kerry!!

I would love to fit into a size six but even at my lowest (115) I could only get into a 9. Why, you ask?! Because my hips are freakin' huge!! Drives me nuts. But, at least I looked good in a 9 !!

I have a planned cheat tomorrow and I am actually nervouse about it! I don't want to wake up with a "carb hangover"!

I hope everyone is doing well!

Hey Guys! you all rock! I am soo glad to have some people doing this with me. It definitely makes a difference. So... you guys tell me about yourselves...

hey klc145! yes, my hometown of Pass Christian, MS is just demolished. I had been working in New Orleans, and lost my job temporarily, and my car. They still can't find it!! what a mess. it's just unreal to see the place where you grew up completely washed away. Pass Christian is a special place... i spent two months there trying to help my parents with our flooded out house. I also spent those two months eating everything in sight!! Anyway, I just moved to Denver a few days ago, and I am eager to get into some outdoor activities. I should start working soon, so hopefully I'll meet some people who can go hiking with me.

As for the diet, so far so good. I haven't weighed myself yet, but I am definitely eating far less than before, and cutting out the carbs. I think I will weigh myself tomorrow...

good luck!

Meagan

hey. I'm 23... and would like to think i'm 5 feet. (lol. barely... close enough, I'd say.) Anyway, wanting to lose 10-15 more lbs... This would be a nice group to chat with, I'm sure.

meagan, I hope things will be better for you soon. You must've gone through a lot, and I think you're really strong for having done so. Wishing you the best for whatever follows. By the way, I heard denver is a great place to be...
