Hullabalou has been great so far! Got front row for Doobie Bros. and saw Bon Jovi. Got a piece of War's guitar stick and front row for Steppenwolf! Kenny Chesney was pretty good but I don't like country too much. He did bust into joker WITH steve miller on stage and into stand up bob marley into gimme 3 steps so that was cool!. Today is Taj Mahal, Black Crows, Steve Miller, and Dave Matthews Band! Wooo! Lots of other acts but those are the only ones I can see. I will be parking my butt at the fleur de lis stage!

Hello all...
Foodwise:
Saturday was OK. Sunday was crap. And I mean CRAP. Ugh.

Lifewise:
Saturday- language class and coffee/dinner w. a friend. Inspiring and wonderful

Sunday- church and dinner w. a friend who's leaving the country soon. great to meet up w. her, but soggy and rainy weather dampened the mood.

Ah, well.
Foodwise: Onwards and upwards.
Lifewise: Keep on living!

Hello ladies!
Foodwise I am doing ok, and yesterday started a 5k training thing I pulled out of Fitness Mag. It was only 2 min walking, then 1 min running, for 20 min, but it sucked! Today I am heading to the gym for cardio and then running again Thu and Sat. This thing goes for 6 wks and progressively has you get to 3.1 miles (did I mention I hate running)???

Jess- I've done that type of running before. It was like 8 years ago, but I got to the point where I was able to run around a whole block. That took me 6 weeks to do.

If I tried to attempt that now....I'd die! lol

Things are fine on my end. I'm just extremely bloated. It's very uncomfortable. My problem is that I don't drink enough water during the day. Then, I'm not using A/C at my house and I tend to eat salty foods...then there is TOM...gah!

I started it again tonight too. I did it last year and it was great, I only made it through about a week though

Tonight seemed not as hard as usual. I hate the lunge things.

Afterwards I did weight loss yoga with Bob. I <3 Bob.

GOOD LUCK to you! Let me know how you like it

my friend lost 10 lbs in 10 days and then quit. I asked her about it and she said that it makes her want to cry even thinking about it.

Sounds about right. It sucks!

But 10 lbs? Holy crap. That would make me stick with it for sure!
Anyway, yes, do it, and maybe we can stick with it together

i like jillians no more trouble zones better than 30 day shred, i think its just a preference of the types of exercises. But yes it does kinda make you wanna cry but her workouts work, just think about the end result thats what i have to tell myself. Shes says that after you do her workouts for like a week they get easier and at first i was like "YA RIGHT" but they do get better. Good luck ladies. I am restarting no more trouble zones on Monday. We can do this

I am so glad I have friends that can feel the pain I'm in too!
Me and Becky did it last night and it kicked our A$$! We didn't quit though. Felt good and sweaty afterwards. I need to get lighter weight these 8 pounders are killin me! My legs and arms are sore today but they aren't as bad as when I played soccer the first time so that's good. We are going to do it tonight for day 2! I will try the trouble zones after I do the shred. I think Jillian Michaels is evil, but if she makes me skinnier then I'll tolerate her yelling at me through the tv
