Thanks, today so far I am at 32/29 carbs and 1200 cals. I do have to watch the calories now, also, so I'm not always higher, it depends on the day. Of course, I also was not hungry this a.m. and I forgot to take my meds on time. Ugh!

BTW: in 1996 I lost 190 pounds and kept that off for over a decade until I moved and had some non related health issues and no kitchen! I did come back to Atkins after self diagnosing some basic issues ( I have the education and degrees to do that.. I am a retired health care provider..) and went back on Atkins, at 224 pounds. I vary from 120's t0 130s and will go into low 140s with water gains on off plan days. My size remains 4-6. I have been on this site since 2008 and prior to that on the Atkins site for years. We all have different needs

I envy you for your loss. From earlier than I can remember I was considered "big" and needed to lose weight; never mind that at 5'7" I weighed 148--I was 12!
Once I went on WW with a friend and her husband. After six weeks he lost 30 lbs, she lost 20--and I lost two--and I didn't cheat once.
I went on Atkins when it first came out in 1972. I felt really good on it but after losing ten lbs it started going up again. It was frustrating because I didn't know why and gave up.
In the last two years I have lost and gained 70 pounds, 35 lbs each winter thanks to seasonal affect disorder. It's like being a drug addict and throws me into a depression. Now that we have identified it my dr will be treating me for it. Combine that with hypoglycemia, thyroid and adrenal disorders and you can see the battle that I have and why I am constantly a work in progress.
