Default Question About Sugar Substitutes

I am on Day 5 of Phase I. I have a problem with sugar substitutes. So does that preclude me from having any dessert in Phase I? I am not a big sweet eater so it's no big deal.

Welcome!
If you are not a sweet eater, then what is your problem with not having dessert in phase I, if sugar substitutes don't work for you?
Is there some other dessert like food that you'd like to have that isn't sweet?

If you aren't eating any sugar substitutes then you will find it difficult to have desserts...wink, wink. I eat Artificial sweeteners every day in my coffee and have not found them to be a staller. You might be different. You will find that this journey is personal. What works for others doesn't necessary work for you, and visa versa. When anyone asks for advice we should all take it with a grain of salt. It might work or it might not. I have found that reading everyone's experiences on this way of eating is so solitary. This is my journey. You have yours. We are here to support your exploration to the path that works best for you.

I may be wrong, but I got the impression that the OP might have been asking if she HAD to have desserts to make the plan work. If that's the case, I believe the answer is no.

While we're on the topic of artificial sweeteners, does anyone know where I can order liquid Splenda for a good price online? Our local stores don't stock it, and the granular Splenda has maltodextrin (carbs) added. Thanks!

Try netrition.com for the liquid Splenda.

Thanks for your speedy reply. I don't have a problem not having dessert, I was just curious.
