Welcome Too much for what? What is your goal? You list your plan only as "generic LC". One accepted definition is that LC is an intake less than 130g, and Very LC as less than 50g, so you are limiting carbs well within those definitions. However, if you are insulin resistant, trying to lower blood sugar levels/have diabetes, then there are other plans that limit carb intake to 20g total. Ketogenic plans limit carbs to 20-30g, some use net, some total. This article explains the various levels of low carb well: https://www.dietdoctor.com/low-carb

Many members here use the Atkins induction plan and stay on it for more than two weeks: http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthread.php?t=236482. Or this one from Why We Get Fat: http://www.kostdoktorn.se/wp-conten...starch_diet.pdf Some people could eat 50g carbs a day and lose weight if that is the goal. In the end whatever diet you can make a lifestyle, one that you can follow forever is the one that will help you reach your goals.

paypay77, welcome to the forum, I agree with Janet, we need a bit more info as to what your goal is. If you are trying to limit your carb intake to 30 gr daily. That may even be a bit low for you to start. Atkins offers the 20 or 40 plan? Before you decide, take a look around, read and then make a plan choice. Congrats on the 4 pound loss, for far, one day at a time, best of luck to you. ttyl
