I usually pick the smallest squash possible bc it's just me and hubs, and the larger ones make a ridiculous amount

Actually the next day I used it for a side dish with a little onion & garlic with Parmesan cheese - came out great. I just got another one yesterday and like you I picked the smallest one

Ok, tonite I made Thai shrimp fried rice using the Konjac "tiny pasta" which appears to be the same as "miracle rice". It was very good!

Ooh, you guys have made me so hungry! Great suggestions here. I've resisted trying shirataki because I came into low carb eating such a pasta and rice addict that I spurned anything that looked like it. I've been substituting green beans, shredded cabbage and chopped salad as side dishes. I think after reading this thread I'm going to get some shirataki products and see how I like them.

OK, just thought I'd let you all know that the Fettuccine "oat konjac" is very good and that it's on sale this week for only $19 a case. I'ts the perfect size for lots of stuff like low carb Pad-Thai. I'm running low so I'm stocking back up
