Exclamation Remember to check serving size

Bought some bread this morning after seeing someone say they found great bread for only 7 - 11 net carbs. You don't need special expensive bread for that range. Wonder is 7 net carbs a slice for white and 6.5 net for wheat. They use 2 slices as a serving so the carbs seemed high at first on the label. Pepperidge Farms Light Oat or Wheat is 8 net carbs a slice but they use 3 slices as serving so at first glance they seemed way to high. Other brands use one slice as a serving. Just make sure you're comparing apples to apples when checking out the bread or you may miss out on something good and/or cheaper.

Had to get bread for toast to go with my sugar-free Twist - Hazelnut Chocolate spread (from de Boer food) that arrived yesterday. Only 1.6 net carbs per 2 tbsps

Have a great day!

Barb

PS - I ordered from Netrition.com for $4.95.

Ohhh I would love to get some of that twist. Maybe when I order more syrups. Does it taste like nuttella?

I know what you mean on serving sizes. I use a sliced soy cheese. The serving size is 1.5 slices :\ Kind of odd for something that comes in individualy wrapped slices. One of the hardest to understand serving size on I found was infant formula. They give you the nutricional information for every 100 calories. It doesn't state how much formula = 100 calories. I finaly found one form that did say, hopefully it's the same for different brands

Talking Just like Nuttella!

If you like Nuttella, you'll love the Twist. Same exact taste. They sell plain chocolate too.

Can't figure out why some companies use such screwy serving sizes. Per 100 calories doesn't give a clue as to how much it is. And since when is 3 slices of bread a normal serving? Someone is making wacky sandwiches.
