I'm losing pretty quickly on carnivore/meat and eggs. 12 pounds in one week.
Any danger in losing this quickly? I have lots more to lose! Terry

Your clothes may fall off at the most inconvienent times.

If you are eating at least 1,200 calories or so plus taking your vitamins - then I don't see any. If you are starving yourself -- then I don't care if you are losing or not losing -- I don't believe that starvation is healthy.

Looking at your stats - I assume you have lost only about 12 pounds total and been on it for one week? Your weight loss will slow.

BTW

you won't lose 12 pounds every week. It will probably be like 6 pounds second week, 3 pounds third week, 1.5 pounds fourth week, etc.

Then there will be weeks and months that you don't lose anything. Don't stop the diet and think it does not work anymore. It works. Stay the course.

Most of your weight loss is in the first month and then the first six months.

Thanks for the replys. Been doing carnivore (a tweak on paleo, also known as meat and eggs) since July 7th and have as of this morning lost 16 pounds.
Feeling good! Terry

I don't know specifically about those diets -- but it sounds like Atkins Induction which I have been on for 3.5 years.

Typically you have a huge weight loss the first 2 to 4 weeks and then it slows to a somewhat steady rate for the first six months. Then you typically start building lean body mass so your weight does not change that much -- but you keep losing body fat.

So many people stop the first day / week they don't lose weight. Stick with it and you will be amazed.

That's quite a drop - nice work! I'm also an M&E convert and love the plan. Jesus, the energy alone is worth riding the train. I ran 11 miles this morning and am planning a triathlon in September and a marathon in November.

Keep up the great work, and keep us posted. M&E rocks!
