I finally had some bloodwork and found my FSH is still normal so not in menopause but my estradiol is low. So I'm starting bio-identical estradiol daily with progesterone for 7 days each month. I've had other hormone levels checked before and they were normal - testosterone, progesterone. I'm anxious to see if this will help my symptoms. Anyone have any experience with this?

I use an estradiol patch (100 mcg per 24hr period) and take bioidentical progesterone capsules 10-14 days per month. My FSH was also normal and
my estradiol low (and progesterone too). I had taken natural progesterone long before I started the estradiol patch, but when my period stopped and I started feeling awful, I finally went on the patch.

I must say, I've never regretted it so far (well, maybe except for the time TOM visits, LOL), I have better energy, am more calm and most of all I can sleep much better and my awful night sweats are all gone now.
