Angry uh oh!

The temptation was overwhelming! I have been a bit down today and and a bag of Barbara's cheese puffs was whispering "eat me! eat me! I will make you feel alright" I can't believe it. I ate half the bag. Darn!!!

What were the doing in house?

This sort of thing can happen - especially if it's sitting in the cupboard calling you!

When it ain't in the house, it ain't calling!

he he

wait,... is that my diet soda calling, I'll be right back!

Never listen to cheese puffs. Cheese puffs lie.

So do chocolate and ice cream. They're even bigger liars than the cheese puffs. And they laugh in your face when you're curled up in a fetal position crying "why, why??"

the great thing about cheese puffs are....they are easy to kill. Instructions for murdering bag of cheese puffs: pound with rolling pin. Next, sit on them. (insulting them while you do so is optional) Pour remnants into garbage disposal or toilet.

Carbs are addictive. I think the longer we stay with this WOE, the more we appreciate this fact and have a cautious sort of respect for their 'evil power.' I'm with Dave--no way could I stay on program for weeks and weeks at a time if I bought junk food.

So now....forgive yourself, while you're strong, get rid of the carbs in the house, and get right back on track!

Boyfriend seems to be bringing carbs into the house and leaving them out in plain sight. As I see it I have two options available:

a) Dump evil carb sneaking boyfriend

b) Buy a safe in which to keep evil carb sneaking boyfiend's cheese puffs

Wink I can totally sympathize!

My husband isn't "evilly carb sneaking" he's just a STICK and trying to gain weight-what a creep! (Just kidding-he's a sweetie and 100% supportive!)

So yes, I too live with LOTS of carbs in the house. Yet another reason for choosing CAD-we can eat dinner together and I don't have to feel guilty about eating the stuff I like to cook for him (tonight is chicken and wild rice casserole, but since I'll eat LC all day it's OK).

Hang in there!

Default Cheesy poofs!

<sfx Cartman>Yeah I want Cheesy poofs!

Cheesy poofs are my nemesis!

If is wasn't for them, I would be thinner

I think they have a Plan. They want us to all be Cheesy poof shaped <sigh>
Still, haven't had one since New Year, yay!

Herald (trying not to be cheesy poof shaped, or Cartman shaped, for that matter)

I crave carbs all the time...Before today I would occasionally make popcorn, but I have thrown that out the window. I also melt cheese about 2 ounces worth in the microwave and dip it into a 1/2 of a teaspoon full as a muncy. The cheese tastes like a cheese cracker then I grab my bottled water (2 of them 500 ml each) and down them I am now full and complete. With a carb addict husband and a 6 year old that has to have every school snack made. Trust me it is hard. I have about 15 bags of chips, rolo icecream, chocolate, fresh bread, jo louis, pudding, cookies, you name it I have it. Another secret that my husband does not know about I look at his favourite photo of me which is at my thin days. My face is so thin....and it makes me determined. I can celebrate for one day when I get to my goal. I do celebrate holidays....Birthdays that is...My best friends was two weeks ago and I had a small piece. And my birthday is in two weeks and a small piece of cake will make it there again. I sometimes give myself something every 25 days or so this might work for you.

Good luck and keep going
Pearl
