Plane Crazy i usually eat pate on hard boiled eggs after i eat the yolk out of the middle. Some people i know think this is really gross but i enjoy it. i have also been known to eat it scooped onto a walnut or sometimes just on a spoon

I like the walnut idea! I'm not so crazy about egg whites. Of boiled eggs, I really only like the yolks, but will eat the whites as a yolk-delivery-medium. I've also eaten pate on a spoon, that's what I did at the french restaurant.

I'm going to think about this. There's got to be something fairly neutral, with good texture that would enhance the pate rather than compete with it (like a slice of cheese). Hmmmm.

I find that pate and sliced tomatoes go very well together!
