Oh, I hope you make this one! I hunt, too. Luckily, you can, for the most part, be a bigger person and participate. It's very size-friendly with the equipment, etc.

To be able to run again like I used to (think 45min 10km). This may be impossible without knee surgery. Too many miles, too many injuries.

Roller coasters of course. As a coaster fanatic who lives in central Florida, this has been extremely difficult. Needless to say, I am going to make the rounds soon.

Being able to fit into the bus seat while chaperoning my kids marching band trip to DC for the National Cherry Blossom Festival parade later this spring.

Thanks. Been almost 20yrs since I trained to run that hard. After I left active duty, life intervened and it was more difficult to get the mileage in.

These are all GREAT non-scale goals. My main goal right now is to reduce or eliminate my knee and foot pain so I can stand and walk 5 minutes or more without having to find a place to sit because I'm in extreme pain and totally exhausted.

Do you know what's causing it? That sounds awful.

LOL. I won't get in one. I exclusively ground hunt. Because I'm chicken.

I have arthritis in my knees. I don't know what's causing the pain and neuropathy in my feet. I'm hoping eating cleaner will reduce inflammation and provide some relief (not to mention carrying around less weight). I've also started taking a joint supplement that in time should help as well.

Do you have access to a pool and whirlpool? All the ladies at the Y with arthritis in the knee swear by it, even the ones who were using chair lifts before. It seems to work wonders if you push through the pain.

Gail, have you completely cut out all grains? That worked SO well for me.

Now, if I eat any, inadvertently, the canary in the coal mine is my right index finger: it gets red and painful.

My knees will be next, I know, so I'm careful! Walking up and down stairs, slowly, can actually help arthritic knees, though. It gets the synovial fluid moving, and that helps to ease the pain.

I use a tree stand and blind, as well. But I'd like to get a hanging one or a climbing stand that can let me get 20 feet up instead of 12 feet up on the 2 man ladder stand I have. I'd also like to fit into a real harness.

New one that just occurred to me: I want to not be the biggest guy in the room. I have always been "Big Guy". I want to be just a normal guy.
