Default I've binged the last few days

I'm saying it here because I'm too ashamed to say it to my husband or my sponsor. I've been eating cookies for a few days and hiding out and feeling really crappy physically and emotionally. I need to confess and get back up and keep moving. I've discovered that if I don't get centered in the mornings I'm in great danger of relapsing and eating starch and sugar. I am so grateful you all are there to hear me. It's like my higher power is coming through you right now. thanks for being there.

My advice:

1. Give yourself a hug. There's no reason to feel shame, guilt, anger, hopelessness, and so on. These feelings will do nothing but bring you down and perpectuate the cycle of bingeing.
2. Whenever you are hungry, eat.
3. You DO have the inner strenght and wisdom to take care of yourself. Sometimes we're so consumed by something that we fail to see a bigger picture.

Take care!

Default Thanks Serrelind

Thanks for your encouragement. You're absolutely right. I got reconnected with my inner self, higher power and I'm back on track. I'll say one thing, this process brings up all my fears, traumas, and places where I hold back and hurt myself. Thanks to all of you heroes who take on this food addiction process. It's not for the weak of heart.

Hey there
I am right there with you.

The thing Im trying to remember is--God gives us a new day! So you ate a cookie or two or three-well today-try and make it through one cheat free day. Then another. Then another. Dont look back.

GOOD LUCK! YOU CAN DO THIS!

Hi, glad to hear you are back on track, I am famous for binging. I actually convince myself that if I already had one or two cookies that I might as well make it worth it and eat everything in my house that is not bolted down, and get back on track TOMMOROW.
You can do it, be strong.
Take care
Astrid
