Hello everyone! Sorry I missed yesterday but I had spent the night at the casino and I had no scale. Cool thing though I stayed and played day bingo and my $100 investment got me $1087!! Went and paid some bills and put the rest away for my trip to pick up Chris next weekend.

Cricket yea "already" on the Chris situation...he left the 16th of March so it has seemed like forever to me. Crazy as it is I haven't measured myself in almost a year. I'm just setting my sights on getting back into those size 6's. I don't want to be as small as I was last year but just comfy in the size 6. I decided to have no opinion on where we post...I figure it's your baby and i'll just follow you wherever you want to go. I'm more about the support than the location. My mom made it through her first CN and gained 5 lbs like me but has already lost 2.5 of those so she's on her way. She likes it so far and we've both decided to make a better plan for future CN's. I hope your swollen ham hock is down to a chicken leg this morning ha ha

Dusti I hope you have a great visit with your parents this weekend and that your weather doesn't get too bad. Good luck to your son. I hope you're able to relieve some of your stress.

Mary good luck with that vegan situation. I hope you are able to come up with some foods that you enjoy that fit into the plan. Wishing you a good CN today!! Enjoy!!

Paulette it sounds like you had a fun visit with your mom! Yay! I like your new scale as well. Sounds like a friendly little piece of technology. Enjoy your weekend outdoor time and hopefully you'll avoid that sunburn. Whoo hoo on your loss this morning.

Debbie yay on your loss! I'm sending you whooshie wishes and hope you see a drop this morning.

Rains my dear I hope Miss Whooshie hung out in Alaska last night.

Jodi hope you're doing well this weekend.

Have a great day ladies

GOOD morning ladies Hope y'all had a great nite. Hope you had a nice dinner and smart to track! I would on all nites except CN. I cannot track that crazy day. Hope you are better and better each day my friend!

PAULETTIE...Yes, we both and most everyone I know is back to the old tracking of real measurements and not the FP&N..It looks so easy and user friendly until I realized how inadequate it was for us. YEA on the water losses and fast too are in there. I had not been hungry DACN but one time. Must have missed the post about your winning HC stuff!!! YES it is fun to win!! and you and Kathy are the lucky harms here you also won that Check from PCH!!! All I do is waste a lot of time Some time ago, and everytime I go to the store I of course cannot help myself but look at the weight loss magic potions. The S/E are too scary. I do not want to uspet the system that has finally been returning to health and good labs. That is just me and my experiences
bbl...

sorry... had a fast tutorial on streaming :0!

KATHY..... When you visit I HAVE to drag you to the bingo casino 1/2 mile down the road!!! I have never been there and you can be lucky for us!!!
For some reason I thought you had already gone to get Chris! Say hello for me and enjoy. Happy you Mom is enjoying and getting this done AS I shared with Paulette, there are now considerations for women over the age of 40 for this plan. Some do not lose well after this age and so they have tweaked the plan... really just as we would have done and were leaning to do as we learned.
My plan has rattly been revamped for CN. I can forgo the french toast or cereals etc for the first spike. I will look to lessen the carbs throughout the day and focus on one dinnertime ( late night deal). So I will have a long and enjoyable ONE spike that would take a little time rather than stuffing myself quickly so I can get to the next spike. The all over effect will be high carbs in a burst ( maybe two not decided) and the dessert fats and high carby meal.
To me that is realistic, less all over cals than before and still will kick up the hormone engine. At this point in the juncture I really do not think the ones in "control and in the KNOW" actually do not more than we can ascertain for ourselves. We may be "newer" to this but ladies, we DO have a lot of real experience and research behind us as well. We do not have to travel over the same rocky roads as our predecessors to get to the same conclusions. We have a super highway and will avoid a lot of the pitfalls that others have seen. I too believe in the process. I ALSO believe in fine tuning and tweaking as Paulette. No need to CHANGE plans. We can improve upon them! With enough science and background information this is quite doable.

GM MARY enjoy CN today and hope the link Rains gave you will be one to consider. It seems great and there IS a podcast referring to VEGETARIANS on this plan . Did not watch it. I am rather narrowly focused with what I am doing at this time. ALTHOUGH this will change now since the time is so much less on this contraption now.

SHOUT OUT to DUSTI & DEBBIE. DUSTI.. hope you are feeling better and DEBBIE... how is the crate hunting going??

I will weigh in later as usual. Early early weigh in was same as later weigh in yesterday so that is good! I WOULD like to have CN tomorrow SUNDAY... and on closer inspection in my crossed out and erased messy calendar, I did have CN on Sunday last week... I remember not feeling like it with my swollen leg! I am a hair under my last CN but not at 157.6 ( for one day) and then 158.8 forever! So I will take all this into consideration.

OH... remember how I was so happy with the horses all being so good with feeding??? This morning the new mare Magic got over being shy.She and Classy the old mare became buddies and she would not go to their own bucket but wanted to SHARE.. UH.. NO WAY... different feeds and amounts!! I tossed buckets, brushes, rolls of paper towels and emptied out the golf cart at her!!!SCREAMED, flung my arms at her.. smart horse.. I was on the other side of the fence fr om her! Finally had to schlep into the wet soggy muddy grass to chase her off and then to lead her to her own feeding place! AND I get to do this every weekend for the next month!

KATHY - congrats on winning!!!! And so MUCH!!!!! YAY!

I love winning things. But you can't win a contest if you don't enter. So I enter every one I come across.

CRICKET - at 740 calories each for a Quarter Pounder w/cheese at McDonald's, you would be eating 14,800 calories. I bet those 20 burgers would end up being more than 5 lbs in the end.

good day.If I may I would like to post what I wrote on my page.

FOOD FOR THOUGHTS : This brings the thought of wonderful Carb Nite Solutions to the forefront. It continues to be successful for myself and for the others that I see on the forum in other threads as well. That is encouraging. I have seen changes in my physical shape that is quite fast and in proportion. My skin is firm, fat is leaving evenly from everywhere. I have no bowel concerns and the most recent physical reports were perfectly in the realm of normal. I eat under 10 carbohydrates a day as a rule but can go to 30 net carbs. I have my carbohydrate heavy span of 8 hours once a week. On those days I enjoy three full meals of wonderful foods and a late night dessert party of ice cream and cake. I have no cravings for more carbohydrates the next day or again. This is what is the case for the thousands that follow this plan. Our minds play heavily into the way we see the carbohydrate needs. We are full. We re-enter ketosis in a couple of days and so personally, and as with others, I have very little hunger and food needs all week. Planning the following carb "nite" takes as much time as you want it to. I enjoy thinking and planning my special day as one would plan an event. I look forward to that, fully enjoy it and know I will have another such time in a matter of days again. There is not the mental craving that denial encourages. Look to the instance of prohibition in the United states in the 1920's (I believe ) and how it encouraged drinking by those not normally involved and how it then became not sought after once legalized. When we KNOW we are allowed to have foods, they become less of a focus and our NEED is lessened. IN truth, the longer we stay on the plan, the less extravagant the meals and foods, the less calories and soon the long sought after chocolates and candies and cookies are dismissed and not bothered with. The amounts are drastically reduced. We are satisfied with small amounts and samples of this and that. I have learned what triggers my natural carbohydrate seeking and avoid them. That is common sense. Because one person may be addicted to smoking does not automatically mean that they cannot be a social drinker. One that is an alcoholic is not always a heroine user. One addiction or TRIGGER does not mean that other substances cannot be had in normal moderation. I do not understand why some cannot see this. CARB ADDICTION does not always mean to ALL THINGS CONTAINING CARBS... for goodness sake, vegetables are carb laden.Pasta, and rice. How many will go scouring the pantry to eat those! Laughable. To quote and American female journalist:" AND THAT IS HOW THE COOKIE CRUMBLES"

I listened to the podcast again for maturing ladies.. I will do as stated by Dr Patel.. try the one good meal of what I want and then the fatty carby insulin spiked dessert. I can begin with 2 meals as well and see how that works. Theme is shorten the duration of CN and control lesser calories and carbs.. lowering proteins has better results. STATES IF WE ARE NOT GETTING BACK TO PRE CN WEIGHT BY NEXT CN THEN WE NEED TO CHANGE THINGS! ( DUH) and for that answer we needed 2 brainiacs making oodles of $$ off this??? wow.

DOWN to the stubborn weight but happy it is there. I am going to have the newer modified CN per Dr Rocky . WIll have a small main dish with pizza and my pound cake with the hagandaas.

RAINS.. you did really well!. SOY will get ya every time.. also the raw fish is high sodium too.It will float off you! As long as you have a good time.Food is a side affair not the main deal when in good company! Better off than with the heavy meats. They seem to stick around longer.

I visited OWL's journal to read and OMG that girl is going through so much.. off to the private CN NUCLEUS site to chat !!!.

Hello OWL!!! I love to hear your thoughts. You are so well spoken and your experience with CNS will be so welcome here!

I am curious where you are from? I am from Wisconsin, USA, kind of up north near the Great Lakes. Where all the dairy farms are.

NOW a question. the pod cast mentioned MCT oil for use in increasing ketones temporarily over a space of hours. Not a fan of additives especially when the product is Rx mostly!
