Question Narrow Shoulders?

Beiners, will you please measure from across your shoulders, from one ball joint to the other?

What is your measurement (in INCHES, please)?
Your height?

Thanks

Why?

Oh, just curious. Since I'm involved in the Midsummer Madness Challenge, I'm interested in that sort of thing. This EarthMamma person has virtually the same measurements as me but we look quite different.

Jinx - 12-14 depending on whether from the outside -outside edge of ball joint or inside to inside. I know they look small and scrawny when at desired weight -well not the shoulders - but all the collar bones and that. 62.5 inches.

Are you on the trail of some earth shattering discovery????

Are you on the trail of some earth shattering discovery????, asks Kokonut.

Well, I don't know. It's just an amazing thing how LITTLE numbers end up telling us about certain things - like our weight, for instance. I'd really like to line up pics of people with the same measurements but who have differnt bf% , different bone structure (sm/me/lg frame, which I guess is what the wrist measurements were supposed to tell us) or WHATEVER, and just take a look. Earthmamma is about 7 years younger than me, if I recall, but she's also had children. She just looks like she has a low body fat percentage, I guess. I've always been super biscuit doughy, but I guess I've always had a pretty high carb diet, then becoming vegetarian the protein got even lower.

I like SEEING stuff like that so that I GET it. I mean, SAYIng, yeah but gaining muscle really is good even though you don't lose "weight" as fast - comparing pics really brings it home (she says after having eaten Belgian chocolate ice cream with her bud...). I'm doing the candida stomp out (it's a new dance - all the rage!) starting, what'd I say Liz? Aug 18th about. So, I'm doing the best I can now.

Anyway, am I the only one who finds this interesting? You can find our pics in the challenge section - Midsummer Madness, I think it's the second post from the beginning that lists our before pics. I'm definately NOT proud of the photos (I was midsentence in the one with my face contorted - THANKS a-hole!) - you know that song where that guy says "You body is a wonderland?" Well, I like to think of mine as a laboratory. I like to mix stuff up until it explodes... I'll have to check out other people's stats...FASCINATING, dahling!

Jinx - Months ago I DID do the spit test and it had sinking threads - BUT since I didn't seem to have any symptoms of Candida - I refused to believe I had it.

Have you ever checked out Mischa's before and after pictures, I don't know if I could find the ones from several months ago - during a fitness challenge she only lost a few pounds BUT an amazing change in body shape took place. Next time I run across the particular pics I have in mind will point ya to em.

Hi BBGirl

Sorry, I can't find the exact link to the spit test but click here for Candida Forum

There's lots of info there and links to different tests and sites about Candida

BBGirl, here is a web site I just found about the spit test. And anyone can get thrush. DS had oral surgery at 15, was on antibiotics and get a really good case of it.

Spit Test

edit: after the diet and supplements I know candida was the cause of most of my hayfever and cronic sinus problems.
