I've only been on LC *for real* for only 3 days and yesterday... I cracked
I went over to my friends' house and we love to cook for each other and I decided to make them nachos and tacos for dinner. With seasoned ground beef, sour cream, guacamole, cheese, jalapenos...the works! I was only planning to eat soft shell tacos made out of low carb *only 4 net grams* tortilla wraps I specially bought for the occasion. The rest of the time I would substitute with huge fresh romaine lettuce.
Well I did all of that... and then some
I just couldn't resist the nachos. They were sooo good. This wasn't your typical movie theater nachos either. Home made, warm, topped with all the goodies.
AHHHHHHH!
I mean, some people here have been on LC for years and I couldn't even make it 3 days.
::sighs::

Well as usual, good luck to everyone!

RD

it takes time to get use to low carb when you spent your whole life eating differently. and really, start by cutting back in lots of different places, skip the roll at dinner, and change to whole wheat breat and whole wheat pasta and just as the days pass, keep cutting back slowley. I am one who thinks going off a diet from time to time isn't the end of the world.
the key is to change your eating habits for life.
so don't feel bad, your ok.

Yes, you were only on day 3. If you can plan ahead and make it through the first week, you may be surprised at the mental change that will happen when tempted by "carbage".
