Question hey all

I'm new to these chat rooms, but was wondering if there were any folks out there in the 21-25 group, like me, who wanted to do a pen pal thing. I'm the only person in my circle of friends on the low carb lifestyle and it kind of sucks not having people who can sympathize with the process.

Appreciate your responses =)

Hi satihap!!

Welcome to the forum!!

I was new to bulletin board forums too when I came here, but now I see that this really a much better way of getting and giving support rather than throught email. You know why? Because if you have an email buddy, you only have one person to support you and answer your questions. If youpost a question here, you have the benefit of literally hundreds of users a day who might be able to answer your question. In a given day, you can post a question and easily expect at least 2-3 responses within a few hours. Not only that, but your experience is posted for OTHER members to read and benefit from the answers as well.

Just something to think about.

There's always the private messaging capability if you want privacy in your communications, but I think most here will agree that starting a journal or joining in an active thread of "buddies" is a great place to go for ongoing support.

And don't worry....within a few days you'll be navigating this forum like a pro. If it seems a little confusing right now, have patience with yourself and keep on clickin'!! You'll get it figured out in no time.
