Your story was very helpful to me, because I needed to see someone who runs while on a low-carb diet. I used to run between 35-45 miles a week and was heavier then than I was when I cut my running. I was eating foot-long subs and whatever I wanted, thinking that running 10 miles should be enough to counteract anything I ate. I lost weight when I went through a divorce, but maintained and improved with constant dieting and running. Fast forward to today and I have gotten bigger than ever. I have problems with my feet, heels, and knees, that are made worse with the extra weight. I have wanted to get back into running because I always enjoyed the way it made me feel, but thought I would have to give up running if I gave up carbs. I don't want to even run long distances, but be able to run a 5k or maybe a 10k every once in a while. I'm glad to see it is possible to run when living low-carb. Congrats on your success!
