Smile Calling all Saskies!

Hello!

I'm an old member who has recently returned. I am looking to make contact with members from Saskatchewan for support and friendship in living a LC lifestyle. It would be great to meet people and have the occasional get together in one of the larger centres. I live in Rosetown, which is about an hour SW of Saskatoon.

Hoping to hear from you all soon!

Nicole

Hey Nicole! I used to live in Rosetown (Jubilee Crescent) but now am in Saskatoon. I'm really new here, but am very dedicated to low carb eating. Hope to hear from you!

Hello folks! I know it's an old post but I am back as of today too.

I am reading The Paleo Diet and am transitioning from primal to paleo over the next month and my intention is to do a strict 30 day paleo and then build from there.

Looking forward to hearing from you all!

Nicole

What have your results been like Wolfie with doing primal/paleo??

I'm still doing Atkins although for the 1000's time I notice the weight is coming off slower. I have a lot less muscle than I did before (job changed). I truly notice a difference having less muscle bulk to help burn off that fat. If any of you wish you can add me to facebook.

I am following Bees Candida diet, but it's not just for Candida, but for all kinds of healing. It involves high fat, medium proteins, and low carbs, and very select acceptable foods list.

Default Hello :) still here

Hello and yes I'm still here haven't posted much here or on these forums for a LONG time lol. Which leaves much to be said about my low carbing adventures! I kinda wish we (sask low carbers) had more support or a group we could start. It definitely would help keep me accountable! How about you Saskia?? What do you think?

Hi! A friend of mine and me want to set up a group of people in Saskatchewan, to support and inform each other about low carb, whole some food and healthy lifestyle. We hope to create a group that will connect through a private forum and maybe come together once a week through the internet or live, whatever is possible. Nothing is set up just yet. We just talked about it yesterday but really are serious in setting something up that will provide a place for info, meal ideas, and support.

We are from the Yorkton area, but people from all over SK and even just over the border to Manitoba are welcome.
If you're interested, just email me at rbdock~accesscomm.ca or look me up on facebook for private messaging. (Saskia Dockrill)

Sometimes a small group 'at the side' plus this great forum, will motivate us more to keep going and loose weight in a healthy way. :-)

I'm from Regina and just getting restarted yet again. A more local support group would be fun. Let me know if you're moving forward with this plan and I'll message you. Thanks.

Please feel free to ad me on FB (Lee Ann Carmon). As I've grown older I've realized the benefit of having support whilst making life changes. Besides it makes it more fun
